Amaç

The main goal of the project was to promote international collaboration for biodiversity conservation and to ensure that young people play an active role in this process. The project aimed to raise environmental awareness among young people, encourage their participation in sustainable practices, and support their leadership in actions related to biodiversity conservation.
The key objectives of the project can be summarized as follows:
1. Increasing Environmental Awareness among Youth: Ensuring that participants become more conscious of biodiversity and environmental sustainability.
2. Encouraging Active Participation of Youth: Developing young people's leadership, advocacy, and awareness-raising skills in the field of biodiversity conservation.
3. Strengthening International Collaboration: Bringing together young people and organizations from different countries to contribute to biodiversity conservation efforts through knowledge sharing and the dissemination of best practices.
4. Policy Development and Advocacy: Encouraging young people to take a more active role in the development of biodiversity and sustainability policies at local, regional, and national levels.
5. Supporting Social Inclusion and Diversity: Ensuring the participation of young people from all social and cultural backgrounds, including disadvantaged youth, and integrating them into biodiversity conservation efforts.
In line with these objectives, the project aimed to nurture environmentally conscious individuals who can lead and create societal awareness in biodiversity conservation.

Results:
Increased Knowledge and Skills in Biodiversity Conservation:

The participants gained a deeper understanding of biodiversity and the urgent need for its conservation. Through workshops and training sessions, they developed practical skills in conservation techniques, research methods, and environmental advocacy.
Participants learned how to conduct biodiversity surveys and habitat assessments, equipping them with hands-on experience that can be applied in their future conservation efforts.
Youth Empowerment and Leadership Development:

The young people involved in the project took on leadership roles in planning and implementing activities. This enhanced their leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, empowering them to continue advocating for biodiversity conservation beyond the project’s duration.
Several participants expressed increased confidence in public speaking and engaging with policymakers and the community on environmental issues.
Community Engagement and Awareness:

The project successfully raised awareness about biodiversity conservation within local communities through outreach programs, workshops, and public campaigns.
Participants led community-based initiatives, such as tree planting and clean-up activities, that engaged local citizens and promoted sustainable environmental practices.
The use of social media and digital platforms extended the project's reach, allowing for wider dissemination of the project's message about biodiversity conservation.
