They also have countless creative ideas in the field of art and culture. Young people from the four countries: Turkey, Poland, Italy and Sweden, aged 19-25, have created a Facebook group on which they exchanged views and experiences and informed each other about the socio-political situation in their countries. They also talked about the impact of these changes on democracy, European citizenship, human rights and the country's value systems.

The initiators of the project are skilled, creative and entrepreneurial people who wanted to involve their peers in similar activities through a broader publicizing of the problem of democratic repression, that is imposing public opinions or crushing human rights, especially of those whose culture is different. The initiative group also included fashion bloggers who, through fashion, wanted to express their distinctiveness, own ego, without unnecessary imitation, but through this kind of artistry they wanted to identify themselves with European citizens, showing their rights and social justice through the most fashionable outfit. That is why young people have decided to organize fashion workshops, whose guiding motto is human rights. The proposed workshop ended with a spectacular fashion show during the International Day of Human Rights (10.12.17) in the urban public space. Participants with fewer opportunities (with social and cultural barriers) also participated in the project (3 persons from each country).

Their other goals were indicated and closely related to their needs, furthermore, the implementation of the project did:
a. strengthen such values as: human rights, equity, equality, democracy, freedom, European citizenship
b. help to conduct an open and international discourse, with no limits
c. reinforce European appurtenance
d. create and strengthen cohesive Europe through cooperation of several organizations acting on behalf of youth
e. increase intercultural awareness
f. promote religious freedom and liberality
g. combat social exclusion
h. promote the recognition of results achieved within non-formal education experience

As part of the project, young people have planned the following activities:
– preparatory visit (APV),
– OFC (online fashion conselling)
– youth exchange (linguistic and cultural preparation, snowball sampling, "aquarium" module (discussion), "cup story" module, cutting clothes (cutting room), tailor's workshop and final fashion show during International Day of Human Rights ( 10.12),
– project evaluation
– promotion and results dissemination

The project promoted tolerance towards cultural and religious diversification, tended to European solidarity and cohesion through a collective idea of equity, equality and respect for human rights; it shaped a sense of entrepreneurship and creativity. The workshop also popularized youth participation in social actions, which were thoroughly designed by youngsters.

Methodology: discussion panels, demonstration, videoconference, simulations, discourse, multimedia presentations, “group flower”, ICT tools, individual and team work.
Tangible results: Youthpass and internal certificates, final fashion show on the International Day of Human Rights (10.12.217).
Other results: increase of language communication skills (English), shaping or strengthening the attitudes of tolerance, respect for human rights, human dignity and democracy (on the example of freedom of design), greater ability to lead open intercultural and interreligious dialogue, better understanding of cultural otherness and the right to individualism, overcoming internal barriers – raising self-esteem, developing a sense of entrepreneurship and initiative, greater involvement in creating cohesive Europe.

The project vastly influenced on a local, regional, national and European level through reaching a wide audience.

The youngsters’ idea is spread among participants and partner organizations through the YouTube channel, which contributed/ es to European popularization of this idea, popularization of the need for intercultural dialogue and creating a cohesive and sustainable Europe, as well as for raising the subject of human rights, freedom of choice, thoughts and speech in public. This form of project dissemination accounts for a long-term benefit.

Besides, the enhanced values and the satisfied needs will have a long-term influence on participants because the values embedded in youth’s awareness constitute an instrument of a youngster’s personal change, which the society will be able to benefit from in the future.

Gençlik hareketliliği · Fundacja Instytut Re-Integracji Spolecznej (Polonya) koordinatörlüğünde; GEZİDER ortak kurum olarak yer aldı.

EU Citizenship, EU awareness and Democracy, Home and justice affairs (human rights & rule of law), International cooperation, international relations, development cooperation
[85,315,192
post-3671","gezider_project","type-gezider_project","status-publish","hentry","gezider_partner-association-of-intercultural-mediators-network","gezider_partner-fundacja-instytut-re-integracji-spolecznej","gezider_partner-group-humanity
["GET
