Amaç
The aim of our project was to promote knowledge about the idea of a smart city, to show how modern technologies influence our lives and serve to improve the conditions and quality of life in our local communities. As part of the project activities, we raised issues important for our cities, affecting the quality of life of residents and the development prospects of our cities. The project also became a testimony that, as young people, we actively participate in social life and work for the development of our cities.
Uygulama
As part of the project, we organized a preparatory visit and a youth exchange. The above-mentioned activities were carried out in Biały Dunajec. The exchange activities took place on September 17-25, 2023. 41 participants, leaders and accompanying persons took part in the exchange activities. The age of the participants was between 16 and 20 years old, they were pupils and students representing 4 partner groups from Poland, Turkey and Slovakia. During the project work, we used the following non-formal education methods – workshops, presentations, discussions, work in working teams, brainstorming, meetings with experts, educational visits, evaluation meetings, reflection groups.

The project created educational materials – a guide, a campaign project, workshops, which we use to expand the group of beneficiaries of our activities. The project also supported cooperation between youth and decision-makers, and showed the role and importance of young people in creating the image of the city and its development.
