– Context / Background of the project: INGEFIEX aims to be an engine of change, both for the city of Badajoz, and for the rest of the group that makes up Extremadura. It should not be forgotten that our region has always been an unknown area, not only outside national borders, but occasionally even outside regional borders. Based on this set of circumstances, our association is made up of experienced people who wish to generate positive impacts on society, and knowing the potential of the Erasmus+ Programme, meet the ideal conditions to achieve such goals.

– Objectives of your project: #GreenPathPlus1 aims to be the first seed of change for the world by INGEFIEX. In view of the extensive natural heritage of the Extremaduran region, we did not find a better topic than the environment to open our land to Europe and the rest of the world. This idea, along with several other proposals by the international partners that accompany us in this adventure (such as the promotion of healthy lifestyles), have made it possible to offer a financed project with such characteristics.

– Number and profile of the participants: the Youth Exchange will meet 30 participants. Of the total number of participants, we will have 12 of them with fewer opportunities (cultural differences and economic obstacles).

– Description of activities: Getting to know each other; Energizers; Presentation of the project; WS – Group building activities; Fun sports games; Sport activities; Spanish, Polish, Bulgarian, Romanian, Latvian and Turkish evenings; WS – Recycle, reduce and reuse; Fashion Show; WS – Meditation & Yoga; Trekking along Guadiana River; WS – Alternative energies; Visit to the Solar Plant located in Alburquerque; Presentation of your country; Trip to Merida; WS – Organic products; Dinner with organic meals; WS – Europass & Youthpass presentations.

– Methodology used to carry out the project: social impact analysis using the hashtag #GreenPathPlus1; obtaining a greater visibility of the project, thanks to the creation of a specific logo; by means of Digital Marketing skills on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube, creating of Erasmus + merchandising, such as T-shirts, stickers and bracelets with logos; to promote brands as #ErasmusPlus, #MarcaExtremadura and / or #MarcaEspaña. Of course, the vast majority of activities of the Youth Exchange will have a characteristic basis of Non-Formal Education. Moreover, we will take advantage of INGEFIEX members' own resources, such as https://es.pinterest.com/jmdsrcsnt/erasmus%2B/, in order to promote European youth participation as much as possible.

– Brief description of expected results and impact / Possible long term benefits: at the local level: to promote Badajoz as an Erasmus+ reference within Extremadura; to increase relations with the City Hall of Badajoz; as well as in the locations of the other European partners involved. At the regional level: to promote Extremadura as an Erasmus+ reference within Spain; to increase relations with the Junta de Extremadura (regional government); as well as in the locations of the other European partners involved. At a national level: to promote Spain as an Erasmus+ reference within Europe; to highlight Extremadura even more in the national map; as well as in the locations of the other European partners involved. At the European / international level: to promote Europe as a reference for global changes. At the level of the participants: the acquisition of extensive personal and professional training in meeting all the objectives of the project previously proposed. At the level of the participating organizations: to gain experience in European projects, extensive visibility of activities carried out at all scales and new networking opportunities to be developed in the near future. Other possible results and / or repercussions: talks on our past, present and future activities related to the Erasmus+ Programme in schools and high schools in Badajoz and its surroundings in the Extremaduran region; as well as in the locations of the other European partners involved; Interviews in local and / or regional press (newspapers, radios and TVs).
